Hi,

My application freezes every time when I open with inspector. But it is working good in simulator.

And also if I run through eclipse, tap is working but not navigating to next screen. Application is freezing.

I'm using Appium version - 1.4.13
OS - Mac Osx Yosimite

Can someone please help out to solve this issue?

I understand that this is a very old thread but I seem to be having this issue even today.

When I try to use the inspector or execute the scripts on iOS version 8.x, Appium and the device freezes for a very long time and usually, I have to force restart the device to gain control of it again.

However, keeping all the other parameters same and just changing the iOS version to 9.x, everything seems to be running smoothly.

Following are parameters:

Appium Version: 1.5.3 GUI
iOS versions: 8.x/9.x
Device: iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s for 8.x and iPhone 6s Plus for 9.x
Mac OSX: 10.11.5
Application Type: Native

Please let me know in case of any ideas/solutions to overcome this.
