Error when running 'sudo authorize-ios'

Can any one tell me steps to change chmod777 as i am new to appium. I am getting below error
ERR! AuthorizeIOS Encountered an issue changing user priveledges for iOS sim app dirs:
ERR! AuthorizeIOS Error was: Command 'chown -R yogesh\:' exited with code 1

Had the same problem, fixed it with:
“sudo -s” and “authorize-ios” on the next line
