Instruments without delay questions - appium tests slow

Hi, Chris,
I tried these steps with appium 1.5.3, ios simulator 9.2, it doesnot work...
are you still on 7.2.1 and appium1.5.1,,,

The staff here have been using those same directions without any report of issues. We're currently using Appium 1.5.3, Xcode 7.2.1, iOS sim 9.2.

All the scripts are trying to achieve is updating that single file to point to the appium-instruments directory.

I read the source of appium-server

this is why even you install IWD but still can not use it

and here is my question
Can IWD use in real device?

I am using real device.

Environment :
iPad: 9.3.5
xcode: 7.3.1

I am running appium using terminal and after sometime execution becomes very slow.
Please help me out of this issue. I really thankful for it.

For appium 1.5.3 Path for xcode-iwd.sh is:

usr/local/lib/node_modules/appium/node_modules/appium-ios-driver/node_modules/appium-instruments/bin/xcode-iwd.sh
