Appium 1.6 iPad does not work

I got all the iPhones running for the updated 1.6 appium but the elements on the iPad seem's to be distorted in the inspector. Meaning it's displayed elsewhere, acting if it was an iPhone.
Is 1.6 currently not supporting iPad or is this a bug?

Is the problem in Landscape mode?

Issue: Clicks on elements don't work properly on iPad and iPhone 10.0+ in landscape mode

It starts in portrait mode. The issue is that I have a login text field when the app first starts up but the element is pointing to another area of my screen instead of the actual field. I had no issue with this in appium 1.5.3 with the iPad.
