Hi All,

Today one new engineer joined our team and proposed to use testcafe ( https://devexpress.github.io/testcafe/9 ) for mobile web UI automation.

He has never worked with appium and I never worked / heard of testcafe.

Is anybody did try this tool and can give merits/demerits against Appium can be useful.

Never heard of it Testcafe. From a quick google it’s a node.js test tool for end to end web testing.

Why would you use that for mobile automation? It makes no sense!

I’m trying to integrate the appium with TestCafe, but I’m not getting it. Could someone help me?

TestCafe is web automation tool along with mobile browser automation as well can be done but mobile automation UI. TestCafe is like Selenium mostly for web automation.
