How to select a suggested item from a suggestion list drop down. API suggestion

I am unable to get element of the suggested list items in a field, is there anyway where i can select particular text from suggestion list.

We are using google API for auto filing the address, so when i type any text it shows 5 suggestions and i want to select any one of them.

I am currently using tap events to select but it gives error on different resolution devices. Has anyone faced this issue ? Can someone please help me out with this.

Do you mean that suggestions list is not visible in appium inspector?
What platform app are you automating iOS or Android ?

Add please more info, screenshots, errors when you tries find elements, etc...

I can see the suggestion list in UIautomatorviewer but i cant select them. I am trying to automate Android application.

So when i highlight what needs to be selected it shows element details of things which are behind that pop-up(its more of a custom view).

Could you try find element in tree?
Don't click on screenshot, just tap on elements in tree at right side, check text and which element selected in screenshot.
I think there are two elements with the same location on screen and it is reason why you see wrong element in tree.

If you will not be able find element in tree it seems you can't automate suggestions list, but in my practice it was possible.
