I see a few question discussing/ with issues in WD.js vs webdriverIO

Any other javascript client binding for Appium

Currently https://github.com/admc/wd is the only javascript client binding that implements Mobile JSON Wire protocol as far I can find. Given there are so many standard selenium protocol javascript bindings out there (WebdriverIO, WebdriverJS, Nightwath.js etc), I am wondering if there are more options to the Appium extended protocol binding?

Protractor: Can't Change the driver context to 'WEBVIEW'

Hi, Hybrid native app + appium + protractor. I'm having trouble with the 'autowebview' appium capability. I suspect it is a race condition between a slow emulator changing contexts and protractor sending commands only supported by a webview context. What I'd like to do is manually set the context to WEBVIEW, in Protractor's onPrepare callback.
