Can you describe the failures you see along with your environment? We've had no trouble testing Android M using Appium using many different versions of Appium.
Specifically, please list what version of Appium you are using, and the errors you encounter that lead you to believe the existing apis are not supported? Providing your code could also prove helpful if that's the problem.
